What are Orbs?
Orbs are
usually circular balls of energy which appear in our photographs. These
tend to be the most commonly photographed form of spirit energy. Although
not seen by the human eye, these orbs reflect the flash of our camera
enabling us to capture them on film.
What
is Ectoplasm?
Ectoplasm
is a mist-like manifestation of spirit energy. This appears as a haze,
mist or turbulent fog in our photographs, when there is no apparent
physical source.
What
is an Apparition?
Apparition is the manifestation of a spirit into the human form.
Apparitions, or ghosts, may be whole body transformations or just a
portion. These are the most uncommon form and considered the most rare.
What
is EMF?
EMF
(Electro Magnetic Field) is measured by MilliGauss and TSPR researchers
looks for a low range of 2.0 to 7.0, which indicates spirit presence, when
the source cannot be traced to an electrical source. Higher ranges
above 8.0 tend to be most common in the household due to electrical
appliances. It is believed that spirits possess a low level of electrical
energy.
What
is EVP?
EVP
(Electronic Voice Phenomenon) are the voice recordings that we hope to
obtain attributed to spirits around us. We use digital and analog
recorders in which to do this. These voices are not heard at the time of
recording but rather at the time the recording is played back. It is not
certain whether spirits imprint their voices onto the tape or the recorder
is recording what the ear cannot hear.
What
is significant about Temperature study?
It has
become our belief that spirits can use the heat in the air to help
themselves manifest. By doing so, a cold spot or area is created.
TSPR researchers use digital point and shoot infrared thermometers to
locate these drops in temperatures. These cold spots may indicate to us
where the spirit may be manifesting. These temperature drops can be
quite drastic, sometimes being 20 degrees less than the ambient
temperature of the surroundings.
What
are Psychic/Sensitives?
Psychics or Sensitives are those people who possess a special gift. They
can feel or sense spirit presence. We have a few researchers with this
gift and greatly appreciate their ability to direct us to substantiate the
spirit presence with physical documentation. |
