Paranormal Activity Reported:
The family currently living in the residence has reported seeing the apparitions of children in period clothing.
Cold spots have been experienced, along with unexplainable odors, sounds and
voices. An orange-colored orb was seen to materialize and
move down the hallway, while the family dog has also reacted to the
occurrences and refuses to enter some rooms of the house. This
residence is nearby the famous Ayers-Allen house in Metuchen, which has it's
own history of hauntings over the years.
Summation: While this
residence has exhibited a high amount of paranormal activity, it was
relatively quiet during our investigation. At one point the client
felt a cold spot the kitchen moments after Mark J. obtained the positive
picture of an orb on the basement door, which was only a few feet away.
Mike M. smelled cigarette smoke in the basement, and later in the evening he
also experienced a cold spot in the kitchen. The male researchers did
not capture many positive photos, but the female investigators captured an
unusually high amount of positives. Since the clients have seen
apparitions of children in the house, it's possible that they were more
drawn to the women in the group. We will be continuing our
investigation of this residence in the near future. As this
investigation was conducted during a full lunar eclipse, we are eager to see
if there is any measurable differences in our experiences during other times
